• Identify and describe methods of oxygenation and ventilation used in the neonatal population including indications and complications.
• Describe Acid base homeostasis by identifying respiratory acidosis/alkalosis and metabolic acidosis
• Discuss acid base abnormalities and compensating mechanisms.
• Discuss the purpose of interpreting blood gases and identifying acidosis and alkalosis in a neonate compensated versus uncompensated
